Most Dems don't know what a "neocon" really is, but it's in their "talking points" so they run with it.  With few exceptions they think neocon and Republican are synonymous.

You think my challenging expressed anger and degradation at the religion of Islam over frustration and fear regarding elements misrepresenting it is defensiveness and ignorance?

Let me add presumption on your part.

1. I'm not a Democrat.

2. I'm not a Muslim.

3. I never said I thought all Republicans were neocons. I'm pretty sure the GOP is distancing itself from the hijackers, anyhow. If you feel defensive, it has absolutely nothing to do with the Republican party, imo.

4. Religious hatred is still ignorant bigotry.
