short version, I just don't have those problems in my neck of the galaxy.

like I said, 50mil an hour, easy. You can make it in a completely t1 battlecruiser, w/o even using named fittings. So anything under 100mil is a throwaway ship.
It also helps to have an empire-based alt to do manufacturing, trade routes, etc. It's an easy way to multiply that isk and feed the never ending demands of a pvp char.
on top of that, i rarely, if ever, use t2 components or ships in fleet engagements? why? cuz it doesn't matter how big and bad your ship is, or how awesomely it tanks. 20+ guys lock you, you die

better to just have a cheap investment, and buy insurance for it. my corp has some awesome replacement costs. I pay about 20mil in minerals for 100mil battleships. can't beat that bargain.
