I am curious as to who has the single greatest tour ever in the history of AH, as far as all the categories of fighter rank are concerned:

I know CUCKOO was the only one to ever go #1 #1 #1 #1 across the board... he did it in tour 31.

that guy who won the P47 contest that one tour was something like 105-0 in it, don't know his overall K/D but thats pretty good.

The guy way back who never died and only flew a 190A8. Can't remember who it was, but I was like damn when it happened.

I'd say "damn!" too. The A-8 isn't exactly easy to use as a dogfighter. The must have been pretty selective about what fights he got himself into, or else greater than great in it.

But not this time. Actually, it's hard to search for best k/s, k/d and hit% because you can't sort any list by that numbers.
And that stats are also pretty useless to be singled out. One single sortie against incoming buffs can give you a hit% of 80. If you don't fly any additional fighter sortie that tour, you retain your 1337 score right to the end, along with a K/H of maybe 50 or so.

If I remember right that guy had a K/D of something around 350/1 in one of the early tours.

Fishu. beta tour 2 had 347 kills no deaths.

been trying to beat that record regardless of if it was a volcano bug exploit for 8 yrs now.

closest I've gotten at the start of a tour before dying was less than halfway.

152 kills in p51d before first death to an la7 on vapors at 16k.

122 kills in 109k4 before first death in a deck furball to an unseen yak that crawled up on me.

those were the highest. often got into the 70's to 100 kills before biting it but nothing close to 350.

Lusche, I was looking for the whole tour and the overall best fighter score, not just one category. Like looking at every tours #1 fighter and see who had the best tour out of all of them!!!:aok

I would imagin hes right on this one, lusche was also right in the ract people run their fighter score up then switch to attack.

I balive the best way to be accurate is throw out the attack rank and have a air/ground stats system.

then some just like K/D and streaks and find score irrelevant.

score is for your own personal use because not one of us here cares what anyone elses score is but our own. if you think otherwise you're fooling yourself. with that knowledge you can pick apart elements of scoring that you find useful for your own interests and flying style.

that is the limits of scoring when used to improve and gauge your own air combat exploits. anything beyond this becomes a competition to get a higher score for score's sake and is not relevant as a measure of flying or gunnery skill. this enters the realm of the "gamer"

I guess I will research it then. I will find who had the best tour evah! Now, you must know that "gaming" might have occured, but I just want to know who had the best overall fighter tour in AH history!:aok
