By default, when you import a CD into itunes, it will convert it to itunes format
You will need to change it so that it converts them to mp3 format. Windows Movie Maker will accept mp3 format music files.
To change itunes settings:
Open iTunes
Click on Edit (one of the menus at the top of the window)
Then click on the "Advanced" Tab
Then click on the "Import" Tab
Select "MP3 Encode" for the "Import Using" option.
Now iTunes will forever import all your audio CD's to mp3 format.
You can now go to your folder where your music is stored.
By default, it goes to your "My Music" folder. Then iTunes folder, then it's sorted by Album. Find your song.
If you already have music in itunes that you want converted to mp3, just right click on the music file while in iTunes and select "convert to mp3 format". It takes a few seconds and then presto, it's converted. You'll notice you will still have a copy of that file, but in a different format.
