Colbert is pretty representitive of the joke the prediential elections and their candidates have become.

Think about it. Other then their rhetoric. which of the canidates of either side currently honestly represent you?

Probably none really.

The last 2,and argueably 3 presidencies have been a joke thats gotten progressivly worse.
One side tries to counter the other side with more of the same.

Now we have Bush, Arguably the most devicive president in recent history and it will probably at this point be followed by Hillary. Whom is also one of the most devisive charactors in political history

We have the Holier then tho right, and the touchy feely everyone must feel good left.
And neither a brain with common sence nor a true leader among either.

Who out there is a true leader? I cant see a single one in the bunch.
Nobody I'd be willing to follow.

who Rudy?
Rudy's big claim to leadership was the face he put on NY after 911
Hillary isnt a leader, her only real claim to fame is being the first lady to an adultress husband.

There is a sayng that "this country is going to hell in a handbasket"

I got news for ya. We're already there.
We need to rise up and somehow take back our country.
I personally am so disgusted at whats available at the point where I am just shy of advocating support for a violent overthrow at all levels from local to national to restore the republic to its original consitutional intentions.

But just..only just.

Cause what we have now. Sure isnt what the founding fathers intended.
Death is no easy answer
For those who wish to know
Ask those who have been before you
What fate the future holds
It ain't pretty

The funny thing is Comedy Central has consulted some DC election lawyers and released a statement:

“Based on the law, prior rulings made by the Federal Election Commission and advice of expert outside counsel, Comedy Central is very comfortable that the network, 'The Colbert Report' and Stephen Colbert are operating well within federal campaign election laws,”

LMAO, I so hope he gets on the ballot and gets many many votes.
