A purely defensive Hurri is very hard to hit in a 190 and a 190 that wont slow down is hard on the Hurri. If both are cagey it comes down to someone making a good shot on a bad opportunity. Sometimes the 190 can seduce the Hurri into roping himself sometimes the Hurri can hide his E or seduce the 190 into turning too long. It actually can be an interesting fight.
But all in all the Hurri is a much easier plane to succeed in because fights tend to progress towards the Hurri's strengths - lower and slower.
Finally, a 190 B&Zer may suck but a Hurri B&Zer really sucks
When I see a high Hurri all I can think to do is stretch'em out make 'em dive. When they catch up make 'em turn a couple of times then skedaddle, get some distance, then start climbing. That's when they cry runner-come-back-turn-fight-my-hurri. I think: like hell I will.
Kong, The Hurri is really a helpless plane. Two turns and its done. Now if it has alt on you its a different story but that goes from every plane with alt. Most of the whining about the Hurri come from players that are either new and the can't think in 3D yet, or vets who find that after 4 or more years in the game they still don't know what to do when they see one.
I've been called all kind of names in the AvA for taking a 109 vertical vs a hurri after the first two turns. If you know how to fight them they are helpless. If you don't, it is your fault and not the Hurris.
The main character of this whining has 61 hurri cherry picks in a 190 and has been killed by a Hurri 1 time. Yet, he keeps whining about Hurris. It seems to me he has no problems getting the cherry pick or the hard shot as you call it when the hurri is busy with someone else. He is just hiding his dweebness behind a plane. I'd probably do the same if after 5 years I could not fight my way out of a paper back
