New Video card Help
« on: October 26, 2007, 12:09:12 PM »
Good Afternoon All,

I have a nVidia Geforce4 MX 420 video card that I’m looking to replace. I’m a little leery as this card is shown on the Dell site as refurbished and it cost as much or more as some of the cards below. That being said out of the cards below which should I choose? Or is there another card under $130 that I should go for? I have a Dell Dimension 8250 P4 2.4 GHz 533 MHz FSB.
256mb ram. (I know I need more :) )

VisionTEK
XTASY Radeon X1300 512 MB DDR2 AGP Graphics Card ($155 might be too costly)

VisionTEK
Radeon X1300 256 MB DDR2 PCI Express Graphics Card

VisionTEK
Radeon 9550 128 MB DMS59 Dual Display AGP Graphics Card

VisionTEK
XTASY RADEON 9250 128 MB DDR AGP Graphics Card

ATI Technologies
Radeon 9550 256 MB DDR AGP Graphics Card

Thanks for your help!

If you want to go ATI, then I think this video card would be a better deal then the ones you listed.  Just have to be minful of the power requirements.

If the power requirements are a show stopper, then this one might be a better fit.

I think you are getting scalped at the prices you list for the product you are looking at.

DISCLAIMER:  None of the above are actual recommendations.  I do not make recommendations.
