Was checking out a few vid's on youtube...as you do.....found this one........man, dont think I should have watched it.....but oh well,

Despite the advances in how war is fought today, let us remember that the modern day GI who is hit by a bullet or shrapnel potentialy suffers just as painfull and traumatising an inujry as those who got hit on the beaches of Normandy in ww2.

those who fight, we can never understand your experiences and the life you lead, but we can always thank you for it.

I have that video posted on my MySpace, but I personally don't/can't watch it.  I got torn up in Mosul in '04 and have 3 daughters, so that one kind of grabbed me when I saw it.  I hope y'all will take a few minutes and watch it.

nope he's not a wuss.  he's probably a person who has worn a uniform and gone in the service of his country.  that is a touching video, thanks for sharing it.

Ocean - I dont mind being called a wuss.....but please, do NOT take the wearing of a uniform in the service of your country (any armed force, in any country) lightly. FYI, I have been in combat, had to watch as some of my friends didnt make it back, and attended their funerals.

Abuse me as much as you like, but please, show some respect.

Thanks for posting the video, it is touching.

The sad part is how our brave soldiers are put into harms way only to be given second class treatment at the VA hospitals. They should be getting priority, first class treatment. We have our priorities wrong.
