About a month ago i upped from a semi-capped field..  I watched from the tower as the 2 main vulchers were on there zoom climbs. I quickly click SE runway.

Hit WEP, rolling quick, 1 notch of flaps.  Look up and see a 234 diving the field towards me.   LOL, dweeb..  no foward firing guns.   I'm gonna HO your arse.    See the bomb drop...  see the bomb getting closer.. see the bomb hit the ground and hear the explosion..

... sent back to the tower scratching my head in a somber moment.  :huh

Over the next hour I caught a few assists on said player (who was in a la7 HO'ing everything in sight, flat turning, and dying dumb) and finally got him into the DA.

OH the whines.

This player was quite upset by my "phoney rules" that I used.
(co alt, co e, same plane, guns cold 1st pass)
They were even more upset after dying three times in a row in one move.

The fourth fight was hillarious.  They climbed above the agreed alt, and came in guns blazing trying to HO me on the initial merge.  They then extended out a few K, reversed, and tried again.  Killed 'em on the 3rd "try".  They couldn't even land a bullet.

They got mad and logged.

EVERYTHING was at fault EXCEPT for their flying according to them.  They died in 2 seconds because of the rules, or how AcesHigh was "wrong" and planes can't fly like that.  The player had no concept of what a merge was, or what to do outside of pointing their nose at you and holding down the trigger.

Boy I got a kick out of it all.

I then spent over an hour w/ a squaddie and 1SADS doing some training and had a blast.
( Sads thanks for you help)

You went from 1 person to 2 at the DA part :lol . Were there more than 1 that you totally owned? :)

------------------------------------------------------

Had some fun tonight, caught a P-51 low alt, dove in behind him, got 200 out, he saw me and tryed to turn...too late ;) . Few minutes later I see a 109K4 low and climbing, I dive in, get 200 out and tear him apart. Wings fall off, tails missing, oil hit :lol . A8Balls had 2 las, niki, and 1 spit on him. Me and some other rooks dive in to help and A8Balls ropes them. None of them saw us coming and every single plane dies :rofl (unfortunatly so does Balls :cry )

This all happened in a sortie where I land 12 kills in my spit 16 :aok

I'm going to start HOing people with rockets.  I've tried a few times in the past, but was not able to connect.  Don't know why I thought/remembered this now.  Even if you don't connect, you are bound to get a response.  And if I'm flying and I see one of you guys try to HO me with rockets, I will be rolling.

Last night I was on another of Facon23's massive base taking missions..  this time for whatever the mission was more uber than usual, something in the neighborhood of 30 to 50 bombers and  15 to 25 fighters..  just MASSIVE

we roll on to the target base like a swarm of locusts and there are just 2 fighters up..  I could almost see the eyes bugging in the NME cockpits...  I was rolling with laughter imagening what it must be like to up from your base and look over and see that you could walk 5 miles on red icons..:lol

I remember flying along over the hangers at my field and out of nowhere bombs everywhere hit me.  Turns out TeeArr was going for the hangers, but got me as well.  We both laughed about that one.

I think he used 'They' in reffrence only to the unnamed, not multiple crappy pilots :)

I've dive bombed a few peeps on the rearm pad, that has to be better than vulching, cause you know there's a good chance you ruined someone's day by making them realize "I should have freakin landed" lol

Best kill though by far was in the DA.. guy had me on my last legs.. then rammed into my rear, forcing him down. Moments later, before his splat, my engine quit, then down. Was a great fight, but when you didn't hit them once and they do that.. SWEET

Bah that's nothing.  When we first came over to AH we grabbed some B26s and were heading out from some field when a bandit attacked from our six.  We were having such a hoot shooting at this guy and talking to each other on TS that we ALL flew into a hill.  Whoever it was got about 15 or 18 proxy kills!

A few years ago I was in a typhoon when I saw a set of Lancs above me.  I started to climb after them.  I was directly under them at about 5K and they were about 3K away when I looked up. That was when I saw it...  a cloud of eggs heading my way.  I wonder if... BOOM... back to the tower.

:(

I suppose that's why they don't have a ball turret. :lol

I must be lucky... that happens to me all the time...

If you're lucky enough to catch the start of a loose buff raid...Ohhhh man...the kills flow.

Blow through, get a couple of pings on them.... fake an attack.... play just inside their gun range.... Boom.....boom....boom.

You have killed:
#1
#2
#3
#4
# etc

hahah. Such a good laugh.

I did that in a 262 once... very easy way to avoid nasty oil leaks when deep in enemy territory.
