AH2 film viewer
« on: October 28, 2007, 06:11:39 PM »
I'm having a problem with the film viewer,I've tried old and new films with the same results.
It starts up,then turns to night, then says the film is 700 odd mins long and finally it locks up.
I get the customary window error,AH2 film is nonresponsive

Any suggestion on a cure????

I get the EXACT same thing. There doesn't seem to be a fix. I already tried re-installing it, didn't work out. On mine, it seems like "day" is running by. It goes from night-day-night-day in a cycle within 10 seconds. Wierd Stuff.

Skuzzy is there a way to fix this?

Hmm strange...mine works fine...

Since you've already re-installed it there isn't much to say...

EDIT: Although I do remember it happening to me once...but a re-install worked...

If you have ever configured or tried to configure your own arena, offline or in LAN play, the film viewer will use those settings.  Just a thought.

I have to use the film viewer everyday and have never seen this type of behavior.  Most of the time odd behavior of the film viewer has to do with the settings you configured offline.

I've set some things different for offline, ammo load x 10,zero fuel burn and lead calc gunsite. other than these changes I've had this problem since the latest patch.
Could it have anything to do with dual core AMD cpu?? The optimizer has solve game play issues but makes me wonder if film viewer is effected by this??
