So it is safe to say that Iraq has "jumped the shark"

probably related to the troops surge and the huge reduction in both Iraqi and us military deaths and injuries since June 07 which somehow has missed the main stream media .. imagine that.

This just shows how far from reality the Iraqi (and Arab in general) mindset is. How and why anyone could have actually believed you could win these people over is ... mind numbing .

No, viking.

They are a reasonable, intelligent, modern-thinking people that want nothing more than to work, develop technology and industry, make world-changing advancements and contribute to the success of mankind.

Moreover, most of them are more than willing to compromise their religious beliefs for the greater good, and are fully capable of seeing the other side of the coin and respect the west for what little freedom has been given to them since the end of the Saddam era.

zambezi shark.  yep bullsharks are equally comfortable in salt, brackish and fresh water.
