Why will he peel?

My kids are all still pretty dark too (despite all the sunscreen put on them) but they just fade after a while.  Peeling only occurs if they get burned.

I don't know why he peels when he tans.  I do too. I peeled last week from my tan from August.  His always lasts a little bit more than mine, then he peels.  But there's no burn.  We both think it's disgusting.

Probably a humidity thing...it is humid here all the time, maybe that is why my kids don't peel.

I was just on a trip to Europe and looked in the mirror before going out to dinner one night and my face looked like a lizard half-way through changing its skin.

I had to use my wife's moisturiser...very embarrasing.

Sun=Radiation
Radiation= Melanoma
Melonoma, if detected in its later stages, = Death.

So, IMO, prolonged exposure to the sun=Death.

Sunscreen yourself or go through months of Chemo like my brother-in-law just has at age 40. He's still not out of the proverbial woods yet.

Actually, that's something to ponder on.  I don't know why we peel. Two of my kids are white (well, they take after their dad... and have ghost white skin), so they don't even tan ~ they immediately burn if they're not slathered with sunscreen.  Then right away they peel.  In fact, one blisters. He usually doesn't go outside in the summer without a hat (he's the redhead below).

I guess the other son & I just take longer? I don't know why. We're freaks of nature I guess?
