This is the film Uglystik, it shows the 1v1 and the fact you ran after losing advantage. U turned back after i had to break for the Ki61.

Just out of curiousity.  What are you saying those guys did wrong?  You were turning with the LA5 and were working hard at getting the angles.  From the film it looks like you didn't see the Tony coming in.  You didn't break for the Tony until his second run.

The LA straightened out nose down after the Tony's first pass and then took you right to allow the Tony to get a better angle.  The Tiffie on your side got the LA, the Tony got you.

Looked like a decent fight :)

Didn't see that anyone 'ran' on anyone.

"running" is often confused with "extending"

More then once I've straightened out and tried to drag a guy for someone else.

After the Tony's first pass the LA straightened out and even turned right a bit to give the Tony a better Angle coming in for his second shot.  Problem for the LA wa the Tiffie coming in for his first :)

I didn't say anything until Uglystick pointed out that he had owned me in his la5. Which if you look at the film is far from the truth. I easily outturned him and he "extended" after he found out he couldn't beat me alone and set me up for the Ki61. I told him he ran from the 1v1 and he said he didn't.
If he would have owned me, he would have stayed on me and killed me before the Ki61 came in.

Seems pretty hard to get a decent 1v1 lately. La5 vs k4 seems like a decent match-up IMO, no shame to fight it out then.

!st that was never a fight. ugly was running from the merge. Basically he needs to spend a bit of time in the TA getting a brush up on +E merges. He was defensive from the 1st "pass" and lucky to get out of dodge. After that i'd say you just got a bit target fixated. I only watched it once but my thought was you had the 61 if you'd converted to a climbing rolling scissors. The lala was a potential issue but he didnt show me any ability to work the throttle of fly the edge. I think I'd have taken my chances taking the fight up vs rolling back in on the lala....

Didn't see that he claimed to own you.  He definately didn't :)

I agree humble and would have done that if my engine hadn't died just after evading the Ki61 400 behind me from lack of fuel. The reason I was target fixated was the fuel problem i was in, i wanted the la5 dead as soon as possible but couldn't finish it because he broke after 3 rolling scissors. If he hadn't run I would have had a chance to fight the Ki61 earlier and might have had a chance.

I only posted the engagement, and not the aftermath on ch200 (mud slinging, etc). I posted the film to prove to him he broke of the fight with me and didn't get a six postion until i had to break of from the Ki61 where he turned back and took a pot shot at me.

That looked like a fun fight.

Interesting how you started the engagement with your engine off.  The tricks you guys use in this game never cease to amaze me.

LOL I was on throttle Idle to preserve fuel while I headed rtb (I was on a very low fuel state), until la5 turned into me :)

Hmm, looked like good tactics from the La5 if you ask me.  Why would you force a bad position when you can extend and engage at an advantage?  Dutchie would have killed the La had it stayed in initially.

Forget about the one on one fight in the MTO.  You have to remember it's the MTO and plan for more guys to come in and jump you.  The trick is and the real skill is not getting caught by the jumpers.  That's the gamey part of AH.  That being said, could have happened in real life as well.  You have to take each situation as it comes.

When you do get a good one on one and a victor is decided, then give a and feel good! Otherwise go to the DA.
