Wooly's Soundpack V1.0
« on: November 01, 2007, 01:29:18 PM »
Well, over the past year or so, I have been slowly putting together a soundpack to bring a higher sense of realism to the game.  After hours of scouring, searching, tweaking and swearing, I have completed something I think I should share.  A big thanks goes out to Mitzu who gave me a good base to start with.  All planes and weapons have sounds that are as close to realistic as possible.  For instance, the P-51 B sounds slightly different that the D model due to an uprated engine.  Same goes for the 109's, 190's, spits, etc.  All "check six" and "base under attack" warnings are in the respective language of the plane's country of origin.  Except Russian.  Let me know what you guys think and if you have any special requests.  A big thanks goes out to the 613th for helping me tweak it.

I've tried downloading five times, and it always corrupts. Does anybody have any advice? I'm using FlashGet as the download manager.

Try downloading it without a dl manager.  If it is still corrupted, I will upload it again.

It's your site, as I can get different files with different downloads, but never a complete package, and never uncorrupted. I tried piecing a pack together, but I never got the last files and folders in the download. What I have been able to get sounds great. Do you think you could upload it to a different site? One place I have found that works well is http://www.archive.org/index.php.
