The other day a guy shot a 190, and took his tail off. The 190 was in a nose up spin, firing the whole time. I was quite a ways away when he hit me. Couple that with the a6m barbeque express, and Im starting to think people should hose a guy until he pops. If I see a burning a6m..I dont care who was supposed to get the kill....Ill finish him.
OK... A week or two ago I was sitting at a VB maproom in an Osti. Hangers were down, I was the only one left and I had been holding this base on my own for over an hour (getting many many kills,,, re-upping occasionally).
So... A goon flys in low. Now there's some friendly planes in the area (at long last). I hear one of them on range say there's a goon. The goon drops 4 troops and I shoot the entire back half of his plane off. I announce over vox, "the goon is dead".
One of the friendlies flys in guns blazing and steals the kill.
I say on vox "nice kill steal".
"Sorry, he was droppping troops".
I have to wonder what part of:
1. "the goon is dead"
2. Seeing no tail section
2. Goons can't drop troops missing the back half of their plane.
3. Osti next to the map room makes troops worthless...
this guy didn't understand.
If you really feel that in that situation you have to "hose the guy until he pops" I don't want you as a countryman.
