Whoever came just before Simiral on the roster that night was probably his PM pal and not someone simply randomly clicking other country members to PM.
I've been wrong before though.
Once.
Hmmm...guess that "once" must have been backing Straiga...
All kidding aside, there are two problems with that theory, Golfer. First is that he PM'd me TWICE, about 10 minutes apart. Pretty much makes it impossible that they guy he was trying to PM had just logged off; although now that I think about it he MIGHT have used roster/tune to. I honestly don't remember if I sent him a PM after the first message, but I don't think I did.
Second problem is the fact that his 2nd PM came was "thanks," after the capture and immediately after he landed 4 kills. That sequence makes absolutely no sense unless he was trying to manipulate the rooks to get more targets in zone.
So regardless of who the intended PM target was, the intended consequence was for rooks to swarm in to bust the mission, so he could get kills. I just can't think of any other reason to say "thanks" to the guy he warned after landing kills.

Hmm, maybe every bish should announce on 200 his loc, alt and speed for a week?
This seems like a completely appropriate intervention scaled to the severity of the offense. Truth be told, the only reason I'm saying anything at all is because I believe community self policing is the best way to minimize dysfunctional gameplay. If consequences for crossing community lines were clear, then we'd see less of what the community in general doesn't want.
Not looking for the "Body Snatchers Finger Pointing" scenario, though. As I said, I honestly couldn't care less about the base capture, and his attempt didn't either prevent the mass drop or stop him from getting the kills he wanted.
