First off, I think the idea is great, as I love watching AH2 films to pass the time 'till I can play again.
Anyway, I have a few suggestions.
First off, to avoid one big thread, and trying to go through it, I suggest that each month a new thread me made. "Film of the Month: XXXXX" for example. The rules should be included in the first post obviously.
Seconding, each time you update the scores, I suggest that a link to each film be provided under them, or after the the tally of the points so far, so that people don't have to go searching for them.
