Ahhh, sorry to hear about the 2bb 360.  I had a 75 Grand Fury with 38000 miles on it a while back with that engine.  Great car, great shape but that engine just didn't go anywhere.

I'll take back my 73 Pontiac Laurentien with the 4bb, 350.  There wasn't anything that could take me!   Then again I never bit off more than I could chew either, but that never happened very often.

thank again for the links, ideas folks.

Motoroil, the little V8 is perfect for the daily driver/road trip use of this car. I don't quite see the use of a monsterished HP BB on a 5000lb daily driver.  If i want to "take on someone", I'll drive the Firebird with the 455:)

I was young back when I had the Pontiac and had a lot less fear.   Not that the 360 is bad, it seems to suit your purpose just fine.  I just never liked it is all.  I've driven better Sunday driver type engines.

Close enought, mine's a Formula (hood scoops) , this one's a Trans Am (Shaker hood). Great lookign trantran, the oversize chrome rims is so ghetto's yesterday, need black rims with chrome dish :)

I agree the rims are a bit much, I'd rather use the stock rims like you have on your car, but alas it aint mine so I dont have much say in the matter :lol
