Well Gents, I just bought a house recently, my very first on, with all that has been going on I failed to alert the cable company till today for the transfer of services.  According to them It will take them (and how ironic is this) 2 weeks for them to turn on my cable. I will miss the fights and be anxious to fly with and against many of you.  <>

your lucky, i had to wait 3 weeks when we first moved down atlanta for them to come turn on my cable, internet, and phone :furious

Ah, no worries.  When I bought my house and moved, they said the same thing... "about two weeks till your service will be active".   Call 'em back and upgrade.... they were at my new place the day after.
