Not getting any Kills

I have shot dwn at least 8-12 fighters from my Bomber guns this month but my score shows no kills for bombers:mad:

Whats that all about then?

Your stats show 70 kills and 98 deaths so far this tour.

3 kills in Lancs, 3 in 24's.

Your scores show 6 kills in bombers in 24 sorties of which you landed 15.

Kills in bombers do not count toward score/rank.

If you kill a gv from a bomber it will show up in game....but air kills don't for some reason.  

To find your kills goto That will show your score and if you goto the bottom and click scores.  That will show all your kill and in what plane/gv

Yes there are three types of "scores":

Fighter (Air vs. Air.. applies to Fighters or Fighter/Bomber hybrids)

Attack (Air vs. Ground.. applies to Bombers or Fighter/Bomber hybrids)

And Ground (Ground vs. All).


If you up a hybrid, in hanger you get to pick if you want to be scored as Fighter or as Attack.

If you up a fighter you're ONLY in Fighter mode.

If you up a bomber you're ONLY in Attack mode.


Basically.. in a bomber if you shoot down other planes, yes you'll get bomber PERKS for the kills, but your score won't reflect your kills.

Actually, you can hotlink to a persons kills page.
Here is Yarbels:  Yarbels kills

Note at the bottom where it says "Total Kills not counted towards Rank".  That is the number of kills that will not display on the "Player Score" page, because those kills were not within your selected mission type (eg. air to air kills are not part of the "Bomber sortie" mission).

Though I prefer "Kill stats in an expanded format" so i can sort it and see what I did shoot down.

Ive shot down fighters before and not gotten credit for the kills. Not in the game comm and not in the stats page. it doesnt happen often, once or twice a tour maybe. I mean "blowing their wings off and watching them tumbling down" kinda kills.

                       I dont know whats going on. Maybe the system is hiccupping and gives me the kill hours later. But this has happened to me. I always assumed somone pinged the fighter before I met him and they got the kill. Computers arent fail-safe, tho overall this game runs remarkably well.

That kill stats feature linked from the player scores page only started just a little under a year ago during tour 82 when Skuzzy updated those pages to be multi-browser friendly :)

Can anyone explain why "Kill stats" under main score page largely doesnt work? Typically ya click on 'continue', nothing happens---my main interest is plane vs country, not pilots

Sweet! didnt know you could extract such info that way!

ahem : P-47N has 1338 Kills of All ...P-47N has 1560 Deaths by All

WHY is this plane accorded an eny of 5?..whereas the:


La-7 has 10463 Kills of All .........La-7 has 8388 Deaths by All

Bf 109K-4 has 3083 Kills of All ....Bf 109K-4 has 2089 Deaths by All

P-51D has 10972 Kills of All .. ....P-51D has 10209 Deaths by All

(Admittedly not germane to thread, but Yarbles question was already answered:) )
