Due to an unfortunate disagreement within my family the weapons my grandfather left me have been at a relatives house for the last 7 years.  Today, much to my surprise and pleasure, they were returned to me for undisclosed reasons.  Perhaps a case of conscience?

Anyway thought you'd like this

Left to right

Stevens Model 86D
Springfield 12 ga single shot
Stevens 20 ga single shot
Winchester Model 50
Revelation Model 356Y 410
sa Luigi Franchi Brescia 12 ga
Stevens Model 620 12 ga
300 Savage
Winchester 30/30

I don't hunt or shoot anymore but I've got a lot of memories tied up in these guys.

Buy a TreadLok safe Dicho.    Those guns are very valuable.    Protect them and keep them in your family.

Treadlok's are just as good as Brownings, without the price tag and they DO NOT cut corners in quality.

Oh absolutely going to get some kind of safe for them.

B@t.. there's not enough money in the world to buy them from me ;)  Shot my first quail with the 410 when I was 8.  Used to hunt jackrabbits with the .22 out of a 1969 Ford pickup truck from 7 or so.  But the memories of being with my grandfather out in the West Texas oil fields learning how to shoot and be safe will e with me forever.

I never mentioned that.   Even though they are priceless, some of those are high 5 figures.

Like I said, protect them in a good safe.   IMO Treadlok safes are the one's you should look at.   Call around to some gun shops in your area Dicho, one or two will carry them.    $600-$800 will get you a very good safe.   Probably in the 16-20 rifle/8-10 pistol range.    They're bolts are concealed and they have VERY GOOD fire protection.

Like I said, keep those in your family.   You should be able to safely shoot those for a years to come.

get the gun safe.. even a $500 one will be great.

It is not so much the value of the guns as the memories that can't be replaced.  also.. a gun safe is a good place to put all sorts of things... just be aware that everyone will want you to stash something in it for em.

mine is am amsec... fire rated to 1200 degrees.  photos and important papers and cash an stuff all go in it.  It has been a good investment... weighs over 800 lbs.. probly half a ton at this point.

I am thinking of getting another one for ammo.
