...I mean, really, do I even need to say anything here?
D3A, D3A, D3A.
Well, when used as a fighter (for straight bomber I love the Ar-234, mostly for the lol factor)... Against... things with inline... engines...
Yeah, forget your people and your Corsairs. I don't like raining bullets on people that much.
It can out turn (full flaps, stalling) a Zero. Only because its stall speed is insanly low (somewhere around 70mph, maybe lower, been a while). The Zero just falls out of the sky. Mind, anyone with half a brain just pulls away.
But never ignore it guns... never... if it's shooting you, it's gonna keep shooting you (1000 rounds per gun, if I remember correctly). And even 7.62s add up over time if you can make them hit the same spot.
Thing is, alot of people do stuff off instinct... They hear bullets, and break. Good thing is, the D3A can break inside most turns.
It can take a little damage... not alot. And it does catch fire. I think it's probably a little tougher than the Zero.
Slow as crap. Like, oh man. Christmas comes twice before you even get halfway to your target most of the time. Good thing (eh) about that is i've lost my vert. Stabalizer going slow, dropped flaps and Dive brakes, and landed.
And there is always that feeling you get when you shoot someone down... More so if it was a perk plane (Oh, wow, someone would have screwed up hard for that to happen...) Because they just got killed by a piece of flying junk.
Only thing I don't like about it are the Iron Sights. I actually prefer to fight from outside the cockpit in it, it's just easier... For me.
All things considered, it's my favorite ride. Atleast when I'm bored. Otherwise I'm in a Yak...
