ACFireguy - you don't know what you're talking about.
An analogy you can relate to:  "God hates studmuffins", and other extremist and/or unwholesome interpretations of the Bible/divine word.

Islam acknowledges the role of Moses as a prophet

Islam acknowledges the role of Jesus as a prophet, they just don't recognize his divinity

The Virgin Mary is a HIGHLY revered figure in many forms of Islam, in some cases more than even Christianity.

True Shariah Law is NOT the extreme misogynistic tyranny that factions like the Taliban made it. These extremists actually REVOKED many of the rights for women that Shariah Law GAVE them.

Significant parts of Islam were actually DRAWN by Muhammad from Christianity and Judaism.

The same Christian biblical text that teaches peace and love has ALSO been used FOR CENTURIES as an excuse to torture and forcibly convert "nonbelievers." Or do you not recall that little thing called the Spanish Inquisition.

Even in Christianity, God has been and STILL IS being used as justification for the persecution of Jews, murder, assault, violence, slavery and racism.

You're letting extremists define your perspective, and it's a disturbing and DANGEROUS thought when so many people are allowing that to happen. They think they're being smart and wary, but all that ends up happening is the cycle of hate is perpetuated.

The "Us or them" attitude is only going to make things WORSE, and it's already happening in our own country, just bleating sheople like you are too blind to see just how bad it's becoming.

Land of tolerance indeed.
Ron White says you can't fix stupid. I beg to differ. Stupid will usually sort itself out, it's just a matter of making sure you're not close enough to become collateral damage.
