Logitech Stick trouble
« on: November 13, 2007, 12:03:26 PM »
Hey guys, I just bought a new Logitech Extreme 3D Pro, and for the most part it works fine. But when I fire guns, I can't get it to stop shooting after a single trigger pull.

Any suggestions?

Mako,
check the forums about Logicrap - I got one when I first started - lasted 2 months - wouldn't hold calibration - spikey pots - had to trash it.

Unfortunate as the stick is well designed and fits and feels good- just the lousiest chapest components possible and didn't hold up at all.

I've since gone CH and there's no comparison. I originally didn't like the stick (it's a strech to grab the hat) and the motion was much "looser" than the Logi. I've since grown accustomed to both and can't praise the quality enough. I can't recall the last time I've calibrated. If the other accolades about CH products I've read here are 50% accurate - I anticipate 5-10 years of troube free service from my current rig.

Sorry, but in my opinion you prolly need to replace the stick.

Regards,
Optiker

Ugh. I just bought this one to replace my trusty Saitek ST290, which was nearing it's second year of service, but needed more and more calibration every time I flew.

Save your money, forget style, go for something that performs great. Get a CH fighterstick or a Saitek X-52 Pro HOTAS
