It was great fun to get a few buddies and crew one.  I do wish we had the option to do that here, in particular with Vox now.

Aye, I do miss the old days sometimes. When the squad would get a bunch of 17s up with full crews, we had some fun. I don't think we actually bombed anything, but I spit a lot of drinks out my nose. Good times.

Agreed. I took my nit on a deathstar run to N 71 one night, all boozed up...we tallied about 20 kills total, but spun in after taking a ton of damage...they started upping like ants outtta their hole, we couldn;t run, and went dry on ammo....hilarous.

the landing/vulch trick was pretty fun, too...

And now, I have decided that, since I've found no representation of them in this role, :), B-24's used as gunships will henceforth be called "Black Shark"

I like it...it's got a pleasant sound :)

That design was based on a description I have Grey Eagle at one of the AW Con's - up to and including the Kreigsmarine paint job.
