Disbanding, looking

Well, I finally need to recognize we aren't rebuilding the 69th Hangar Bangers.  After several fun years, we are down to a few good pilots, and have not been successful recruiting.

If you have several openings, and are looking for some good sticks, reply to this post.

We are skilled in all modes in AH, love a good furball, but love to take bases.  If you need some sure hands, let me know.   We'd like to join as a group, guessing 4 or so.  No kids and no newbies here.

Thanks.

VMF-251 could always use some Hog sticks.
Ron White says you can't fix stupid. I beg to differ. Stupid will usually sort itself out, it's just a matter of making sure you're not close enough to become collateral damage.

Wow.....

Well...we have a big squad...and several good sticks. We've also "thought" about a C wing.....

Ahh 171 VOX and we fly knights. Jump on anytime your knights and have a shout. We do mainly fighter stuff and every now and then some base stuff , but thats rare. Lots of defense and capping tho.

I've flown agaisnt a few of thhose 69th guys. Fun times.

Been looking for a few more since August. I'm aiming for a Friday squad night provided we can round up around 6 more recruits.

why would you want to have a big squad anyways?  we keep our squad small on purpose.  we recruit when we either dump someone, or if they leave.

I consider you guys one of the best all around good crews in the game.  sorry to see you guys go.  I hope you remain in rookland.

all the best

Talonx if you decide to tour the sides vs staying rook stop on by and say hi when/if your knight. We have a great bunch of guys and have topped out at 64 guys more then once. We've got an interesting mix of "styles" with a suprising (for me) number of toolshedders and mission/capture guys as well as a number of pure furballers. In reality we're probably one of the best "combined arms" squads out there when we have the mindset. The thought of a "C" wing is above my paygrade but no question that seasoned sticks like you guys would be most welcome. While we're a very loose and informal bunch we all seem to respond well when anyone wants to take a leadership role. It's pretty common for us to have 8,12 or more up most peak times so you'd always have guys to fly with who are "open to the possibilities"...

As RT said...171 knight whenever your in the nieghborhood <>:aok

Talon,

JAMX is CO of Nasty Dead Men

I know he is looking for good squadies.  I know for a fact that 4 good hands would be more than welcome.  In fact, JAMX has enabled each squadie to invite new members. The way you describe the 69 sounds like NDM.  There are 9 of us now.  The others are:

Boozebag
DCannons
JAMX
kermit51
Odyssey
Otterpop
Pook
PornFL8k

I've been in the squad since early Sept, and enjoy the company of these guys.

No kids, age is mid-thirties to mid-40's, maybe 50's.    Focus is on having fun, primarily with squad cooperation and taking real estate.    No score potatos in this bunch.

Rooks, Sunday night is squad night.
