« on: November 14, 2007, 09:57:35 PM »
why does this game seem to be laggng behind in vehicle production? most game companys seem to bring better looking types to the forfront in less time., I only ask because we have spent so much money as a community over the years..

I'd think that the biggest reason is that Hitechcreations is a small boutique game design firm that doesn't employ hundreds of drones to create soulless, formulaic games for the mass market. Things take longer, but the product is a labor of love, and is often the result of extensive user input. Plus, either through these boards or periodically through channel 200, you can actually talk to the big cheese himself...

When was the last time Bill Gates dropped in and chatted with you on any of the software his company puts out?

The loyalty here is strong, and there is a reason.

Stephen, did you study math at school? "So much money" means:

1. About 5-6 thousand players in average, $15 per month = $90000
2. 12 months in a year (so happened) = $1 080 000
3. As I can remind (can't check it right now) 9 empoyees = $120 000 per year in average.

Minus payments for traffic, hardware, office, phone lines, taxes.... Frankly, I still don't understand why HTC do that! It's looks like charity for wacks.
