1. pick random sport

2. insert Will Ferrell into role

3. use 70's "retro" feel in modern day plot

4. make pseudo-homosexual jokes throughout movie

5. feign cursing to appeal to 12 year old boys, and make movie PG-13

6. ...profit?

Not much of a fan of Will Ferrell.

atleast the guy knows his role in life and sticks to crude humor.  He could try to play a serious dramatic role, but who would buy that?

he tried in stranger than fiction, supposedly got good reviews, but in my opinion the movie sucked. don't waste any money on it.

Come on Will Ferrell has been in some of the funniest movies, Anchorman, Elf, Old School(the best one), I haven't seen Blades of Glory yet but it looked funny, and yes he has done some bombs, but what actor hasn't?

I think Elf was the start of the downfall...

yes I own anchorman, old school, and wedding crashers. those are hilarious, but once I saw ricky bobby "unrated" and they still bleeped the f-bomb in the big red commercial, I was like WTF is with him and this movie?

yes there were a few funny parts, but nothing as good as him crashing funerals :lol

stranger sucked, and when my buddies kids even didn't like that ice skating movie, well...

I think I am getting fed up with his 70's obsession a bit too. like I said I own anchorman, but whe he keeps on with the same shtick it gets old. kind of like a pauly shore movie. the weasel was funny for a while, then the backlash was huge.

I wish Harold Crick would have died... actually I can still hope because I couldn't get through that film.  How did it end?

His crude humor is great though.  Dear 5lb, 8oz baby Jesus... rofl.

:lol

Will Farrel is amusing, but only in a supporting role.  I don't find him too funny.

I'm sure some of you guys have seen this already, but here it is from Will Ferrell's website FunnyorDie.com, it's a video called landlord where his real life daughter plays the part of his landlord.

Not a FAN of Will Ferrel. It's SEEMS it's samo samo over and over n gets irritating very quickly.
It's been said we have three brains, one cobbled on top of the next. The stem is first, the reptilian brain; then the mammalian cerebellum; finally the over developed cerebral cortex.  They don't work together in awfully good harmony - hence ax murders, mobs, and socialism.
