It goes both ways believe it or not.
While I was in Japan I never saw imagery like this or any of the sort. Their society does not allow for it to happen in the 'open'.
However.. Koreans are ostracized a lot in Japan. I got the feeling it was like US 1950's segregationist attitude towards blacks but without it being overt. I remember many storekeeps and people on the street blatantly ignore the existence of Korean people.. a cold shoulder with a nasty attitude kind of thing.
But I dont think theres going to be a conflict between the two. Korea needs to take back the northern half of its country first
