When the day comes (and I think it's already occuring), the fundamental liberties we have -- to be allowed to make our own mistakes, or accomplish our own dreams, and accept the consequences therefor, will be (are being) eroded. Listen to some of Nancy Pelosi's opinions sometime - positively frightening!

I forget the originator but the quotation goes something like:

If you're not a liberal at the age of 20 - you have no heart;
If you're still liberal at 40 - you have no mind.

Think that was Winston Churchill?
It's been said we have three brains, one cobbled on top of the next. The stem is first, the reptilian brain; then the mammalian cerebellum; finally the over developed cerebral cortex.  They don't work together in awfully good harmony - hence ax murders, mobs, and socialism.

it's a shame that all politicians lost sight that they are all, to a man and woman, public servants.

Why isn't MT in this thread putting up a better defense for his fantasy woman?

I don't think anyone here would deny that she is a very abrasive person who is extremely liberal and arrogant.  I don't think anyone would deny that she is evasive and that she holds grudges.

I don't think anyone here would expect her to tell the truth about anything if it would hurt her.

I don't think that we are quite that far down as a country that we would overlook all these things.

I used to think that way too, before 1992.

I will go even farther.... if it were found that she had people killed that would have hurt her politically....

Would anyone here be shocked?   even surprised?    I mean.. say it was proven... I am not saying angry or mad or wanting justice... just surprised.

I don't think there would be a lot of surprise involved.

This may say as much about politics in general in the US as it does about her but I can't help but believe that in her case... many times less people would be surprised.

I don't know if it is so much a "hatefest".. at least in my case... as it is a feeling of contempt and disgust and..  I will admit.. a certain level of fear.   I do fear that people like her could have power over my life.

I don't really want anyone to have power over me but... It is particulary abhorrent that someone like so lacking in morality and so in love with socialism as her would.

___________

Just for clarification, what is hateful about this?  I know you may not have been speaking directly to me, but I'm curious what the view of "hate" is.

I'm of the mind that if one accepts things being taken away for the "common good" then one has to, by design, accept that they are comfortable with someone else deciding what that common good is.  That takes away my, or your, ability to act on your own behalf as it may interfere with someone elses view.  Now, I am not ok with that.  I abhor the concept of some blowhard thinking they know what is better for me than I do.  I won't stand for it.

Is that "Hate" or is it individuality?  If more people took care of themselves then we wouldn't be subjected to the whims of a so called leader who wants to take care of you.  Why should I turn over my life to allow someone else to make decisions for me?

If you want real results, knock the Federal Government back down where it belongs, leave the social remedies at the local level where they know firsthand what "needs" to be done, not what some grandstanding politician wants done so they get re-elected.

So, is this a message of "hate"?

I'll go on record here as saying that hate is too weak of a word for my feelings towards both the Klintons. I despise them both with a passion.

Why should anyone hate Hillary?  I thought she got rid of people like that.

I mean things like Whitewater and Travelgate happens...
There's no need to hate or cover up anything... Right?

Just ask Vincent Foster.

The Death of Vincent Foster.

So my sheep...err fellow Americans...Vote for Hillary.

At least we'll know where the lies are coming from.

Besides Bill and her returned all the "borrowed" stuff from the White House... cuz they knew they were coming back.
