Something makes me uneasy about having a president whose eternal salvation is in the hands of other men.  I think I'll pass.

I'll remind you that txdad is older and wiser than you... ;)

Watch this gem of a clip...move it ahead to 5 minutes into it...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NrZb7duCTfU

Good ole Mrs Ancient McCain, with her Forest Gump son, blast Romney and the Mormons.  No less than 10 seconds latter, Gump is quickly dishing out the "The views of my Mother are not necessarily my own views"  :rofl

Like someone else posted, let's just vote for the person who seems the most qualified.  Religion hasnt been an issue in presidential politics for a long time.  But let's thank Mrs McCain and her ancient views for bringing us back to 1960.

He is the governor of a state that keeps Teddy in the Senate. For that alone I wont vote for him,him being a mormon is just an added bonus.

Well, I did a little looking around, and it seems like Mitt ain't as great as he would appear to be on any sound-byte.  Not at all consistent; seems that his stances change to suit the voting audience for which he's performing.  Too bad.  If there were a thumbs-down smilie, I'd post it here.

Mitt Romney is not a Governor of any state... anymore.

He quit state politics to run for President.

Massachusetts has a governor by the name of Deval Patrick [D].

Massachusetts is interesting... a Blue State that often elects a Red Governor.

I shall not vote for Mitt... I think he is a politician’s politician who is devoid of backbone and Presidential leadership skills thus would have party puppet strings attached to his every body part controlling his every action or inaction.

Personally, I have had quite enough with having a Republican Party Puppet in office; nor do I want a Democrat Puppet either.

As I see it, pickings are slim.
