big issues for me:
flip-flops almost as much as Hillary
not strong on the 2nd (supported the Brady Bill and the AWB)
supports amnesty for illegals
appointed very liberal judges in Mass
pro-war/pro-torture
supports the continuation of the war on drugs.

not as big for me, might matter to you:
pro-choice (a lot of evidence, including abortions being included as a "benefit" in the Mass heath care system)
for federal funding of stem-cell research

then there's the whole "I'd check with the lawyers" comment and the strapping his dog to the roof of his car thing.  

in my view he's not as horrible as some of the others (Giuliani) but he's still a statist, big-government totalitarian, not a small-government conservative.

Here is a unique idea, what say we vote for the best candidate and not because they are black, a woman or a differant religion?

heya bsaddict... how hard do you think I rolled my eyes today when my own txdad said he was leaning toward RP!?!  LOL.  Interesting post there. I actuallly hadn't really started looking into any of his past stuff.  TxDad had plenty to say about him too.

Edit:  That could lead to some interesting thanksgiving dinner conversation...  :)       I'm looking forward to heading home for turkey day, got about half the famdamily voting for RP so far, workin' on the rest...  :)
