Actually, and I hate to say this, I am somewhat w/ zoozoo (shudder) on this one.

I wasn't 100', I was lower brushin' the tree tops doing  @300 kias in a 110 and pickled my eggs to fight a con.  I too blew up.  I understand that in the 1k' arm requirment, you have to factor in the horizontal, but I am hard pressed to believe my eggs traveled 900+ feet horizontally.

I know it bugged me.

When I am in a 234 diving on a GV (Usually a very shallow dive)

I release when the icon goes from 800 o 600.

Assuming you were traveling at 400mph the bomb would travel about 587 feet per second, add into this he ballistic trajectory and you could easily get to the 800 foot mark.

The first 'kill' of an enemy fighter by a 5th AF P-38 was the result of a bomb overshooting the target airfield, dropping into the water, and producing a wall of water that brought down a Zero that just took off to intercept[24 Nov 1942].

I love that quote, I get a kick out of it everytime I read it! Imagine the ribbing that pilot took !!!  LOL!!!

ZooZoo, you bombed your self, you got caught in the blast radius of your bomb is all that happened. Its not a bug, just give your slef a bit more room the next time you let one good.
