Another trick I like to use Latrobe is to "string the con out". I'll either leave my bomb bay doors open when he coming in, and at about 4 K close them, and what happens is he sets his slash up only to find out he flattens out a lot earlier then he thought he would. Guys do that anyways with 67s but when you add a gradual 10 mph they do it more.
"Most" attacks come from under you. And those can be defeated to. Another nice trick is rudder turning hard and zinging your drones around a bit confusing an attacker. I beat a tough stick in a 110 last night doing that, and its a good bomber plane that can beat a good stick in a 110 without losing one 67.
I never take less then a full tank of fuel in my 67s. I love ranging them behind enemy lines talking out ords, dars, and troops as they pop up at front line airbases. Most of all if one of our CVs is heading there.
Just a great airplane.
