Mom, Bon was the a huge part of the creative process for AC/DC. He was much more than just a singer. He was the co-songwriter before his death.
AC/DC went from unpedictable to very predictable after Bon died.

One of the most aggressive, balsiest, guitar players the good lord has ever created.

Besides me...:D

Special mention... their drummer knows when to play, how to play, how much to play, and exactly when to stop playing. He lends the aggressive swing and groove.

Malcolm Young..... Without him they wouldn't even hold together. The mans rhythm playing could hold a wet paper bag toghether if the tasmanian devil was in it.

The singer, just the guy on top, the icing on the cake, the other guys are AC/DC.

In the last 20 years AC/DC has produced the same song over and over again. You can only carry that driving guitar beat so far without spirit and soul. Bon was the spirit and soul.

So Bon Scott is a poser, too?  Bon basically hand-picked Brian to replace him in the band if anything ever happened to him.  Got that right from an interview with Angus.  I think you need to open yer ears a lil rpm, comparing Bon Scott and Brian Johnson is, to me, akin to saying, "Who's better?  B.B. King or Jimi Hendrix?"

I've never read anything like that Diablo and I was deep off into AC/DC when Bon died. Don't get me wrong, they are still good, just not nearly as good as they were and the songs aren't what they could be either.

If you ripped the engine out of your Camero and replaced it with 351 Ford, would it run the same?

Malcolm is definitely a part of the band many forget about. his rhythm and timing are impeccable.

Angus is the driving force behind the band though I think. Without him I don't think they could be even a 1/10 of what they are.

It's kind of like saying Van Halen would be the same without Eddie, or Led Zeppelin without Jimmy.

Yes Bon Scott was great. yes Brian Johnson is good, but neither could have made it as huge without Angus IMGO.
I don't know what to put here yet.

Ya.. however Malcom is apparently the brains behind the band as well.   Brief mention of this on Wiki, but I've seen a couple interviews where Angus/Brian have gone out of their way to describe Malcom in such terms.

Slade was only with them a couple of years.  Phil Rudd has been back on the drummer's stool for about 15 years now.
