Took up a Boston in the MWA a week or so ago...
4 clips, 3 sorties...
1st is me and ack ack....got easily roped mid stream. Had 100% fuel at takeoff but even so the boston suprised me with how quickly it bled out. Could have flown it better but no question the boston is much less formidable in the verticals then the A-20.
The other 3 are over 2 sorties....
Fought the boston in both till it went bingo fuel so its "survivable" but the gun package is weak and the lesser control authority (compared to A-20) left me playing safe all to often. Probably good clips for a newer player or one who doesnt furball at all well.
Hey if I can trundle a boston around without getting hit much the same stuff will work pretty well with a fighter. mostly is throttle work and keeping the lift vector (roughly the "up" view) out of plane when the other guy is trying to shoot...
