Excellent WWII Vehicle Image Gallery
« on: November 27, 2007, 11:37:34 PM »
I stumbled onto this site which shows dang near every land combat fighting vehicle used in WWII.  Shows each vehicle name and an image.  Ohh my Wishlist Christams list for HiTech Clause will be extra long this year!  Picturing some of these vehicles in-game had my drooling.

http://www.tarrif.net/cgi/production/all_vehicles_adv.php

Shows 12 different models of the Sherman alone.  If you click on an image, you get that vehicles specs.

nice site.. I had no idea there were so many light armor tanks in ww2.

The blueprints are great too for 3D modelling. I might save that site offline to keep as a reference as there is a lot of good info there.

Wish we had some Renaults in the game.  Not because I like the tank, but I would sure like blowing up some French stuff..

I noticed that the firefly is faster then the panzer IV.  In the game they same speed.  Wish HTC would tell us what rounds AH uses in each tank so we can look at those charts they have listed there.

man would i LOVE some of those artilery set ups could be implimented much like a carrier's 8inch guns though they would not be allowed to use spawn points. could add a very cool element to the game as planes would have to hunt down arteliery positions miles away from the base and not in the obvious spots. would be very cool. might add a little more strategy to the ground war instead of spawning in obvious position and headed straing for base you could set up on a hill somwhere out of vis range and just bombard them. put your panzers beteween you and the eneme spawn point. could make base capture much more fun.

This is an image of a Tiger from a site I order toys for my nephews from. They are out of stock but the 1:32 scale P51D is setting on my desk here now. :D
If you like the Sick Puppy Custom Sound Pack the please consider contributing for future updates by sending a months dues to Hitech Creations for account "Chalenge." Every little bit helps.
