Farewell Charles Schulz!! Long live the Peanuts!!
« on: February 13, 2000, 11:23:00 AM »

Just thought I would post this for those who due not know.  Charles Schulz, the creator of the Peanuts the longest running cartoon in history, passed away at the age of 77.  May his adventures continue up in the blue skies with Snoopy and his duels with the Red Baron.

Mr. Schulz, you will be missed!

Logged onto USA Today's web site this morning, saw the sad news.

So long, "Sparky", I'll miss you.  Thank you for the enjoyment you've brought me.

A Salute !! to a man that has made me laugh thru out my life and is the creator of one of my hero's.

I will never forget.

But I am sure he would have wanted us to remember him like this

I figured the <S> wasn't good enough, so made this at home.

Feel free to pilfer this for the future, and improve upon if you so desire.

As to Charles Shultz.

Nice artwork Downtown

I am sure Charles would approve.. Man it seems like with the end of the millineum(sort of) so is the end of many good things.  Sad to have to include Schulz as one of them.

Signing off
