A beer fridge is not "frivolous". I have one and its integral to life, at least a happy life. Next these cretins will say a wild game freezer is wasteful for hunters.

                    It all reminds me of Al Gore, the great Nobel blowhard about global warming. His house in TN, or wherever the heck hes from, uses like 10 X the electricity of a normal house.:lol

It's noticeable that both people quoted in the article are women. Only a woman would think a beer fridge is 'frivolous'. I would counter that by saying that hairdryers, hair straightners and other assorted feminine products which use electricity are just as frivolous. :t

In all seriousness though, this kind of thing plumbs the depths of environmental absurdity. Whether you believe in man mad climate change or not, pecking away at trivia like this is stupid, indeed frivolous. What's next on the hitlist? Will we all be policed to ensure we only use electricity for non frivolous purposes?

Why would a Canadian NEED a beer fridge in the Winter?!?!?! Can't you just stuff the case in the snow in the back yard?? :huh  Do that and the problem is solved except for the 3 months of non winter there. :t
