Titanic Marketing Tip for HTC

I only took a few classes on Marketing for College, but I'm pretty sure naming the brand new launch of any "product" should not include the name of "TITANIC".

I am sure you consulted at least a couple of bottles of scotch, and with tears running down your faces...came up with the brilliant marketing ploy.

Well, the name got you to think about it and start a thread, so it worked. That is marketing. ;)

Titanic Thompson was the longest hitter and one of the biggest gamblers in golf. If he played with the same equipment as we do today, Tiger Woods would have to tee off from the ladies tee to get within sand wedge distance of Titainic's ball.

Titanic means having great stature or enormous strength; huge or colossal.

i agree with the positive thoughts,   it wont sink at all,  promotes more teemwork with members we dont know that play in the other arenas,  get all members together and play as one as i look at it,  Titanic name has no refrence to the ship or what happend to it,  titanic means a great big gathereing of all members on one map and to have a bunch of fun fighting each other.

Well, no one cares to get technical, but here goes. "Titanic" is another word for "big", "huge", "gargantuan", "large", etc...

It simply is a W O R D. It is only associated to the demise of a big, huge, large, gargantuan ship.

Titanic is in the dictionary, is it not? As in (sorry guys), the Birds of Prey is a titanic squad.

Oh you did NOT just say that.

That's it. We're boned.
Ron White says you can't fix stupid. I beg to differ. Stupid will usually sort itself out, it's just a matter of making sure you're not close enough to become collateral damage.
