In KOTH it's set to 0 so you can always see people fighting.

But yeah, it's 500' and always was.

That probably goes the same for the propensity to hanger bang rather town kill.  Ask any long standing Ex player from Warbirds and it's the TOWN first.

Freakin does me head in when a mission goes hanger banging......pointless load of crap.  Hangers pop in 15 min but the town stays down 45 min.

There's a load of jokers out there that still don't get what the last sentence implies...do ya

As for 200 / 500 NOE.  It is 500 ft but trust me it's still better to say 200 ft because of the amount of newbies that couldn't do a 90 degree turn without gaining 100 or 200ft.......  Don't trust ?  Your problem !:lol

i think any missun to take a base should at least kill vh. and town at about same time.

with more people who you can trust to hit their targets on a small feild id have three hit fh one hit vh and the other ten hit the town makes it much easier.

having hangers down makes a big difference when you hit a base it gives you time before resistance can arrive. now i know people complain about having no vulch but id rather have the base quick easy and done in five or ten minutes.  (depending of course on what kind of play im looking for)

i just dont like those missuns that turn into a huge furball because people cant keep cap on a base. id rather have it done than be trying to fly goons in with a ton of resistance cause nine out of ten times goons will go down.
(in my expereince)

not saying i dont still join em but the whole noe 110 nik goon raids are so overdone its crazy.
want to have some fun (just an idea) take out 15 stukas have four take care of hangers the others hit the town after bombs are gone scat back to base and let the other fighters in the misson handle uppers and protecting the goon(s)

tons of fun about 30 tons of bombs to be correct.!!!! lol
