sry about posting another B-29 thread, but can some1 please reply and tell me clearly and logically the reasons against having a B-29, WITHOUT using the work 'SQUEAK', or any of its variations?

It's not that we don't want the B-29 in AH2. It's just that there are so many other bombers that many other players want first (He-111 is a popular one). The truth is, HT may actually add the B-29 in the future, but not too soon. The only thing about the B-29 that won't be added ever is the NOOK.

A-26 is a more popular one, and the Do17 which is a much sexier early war ride than the 111, oooh and the ju52 dropped bombs in one variant...
Of course we havent even mentiond the halifax have we?... etc etc.

It is because we need more bombers of other countries first. And, when we get the B-29 I would not doubt bases would get taken down in 1-2 passes.

I agree with this. I would love to see more German, Russian, British etc... level bombers represented, no matter how badly their defensive capabilities were (such as the Stuka and Ju88 we already have). I'd still fly 'em.

A lot has to do with the fact the B-29 had remote controlled guns.  So it would have to be coded in and a lot of other stuff.  Probably one of the most difficult planes to model!
