I hate when those telephone poles jump out in front of you.  

See, if you were flying, than you wouldn't have hit it.  Telephone poles are difficult to fly into.

Glad to see you are safe and got away w/o needing hardware (7" steel plate in the arm here, stick side unfortunately)

Yes, my g/f has a plate in her head from a wreck she had with her stepmom....she told me this was gonna happen a while back, cause of the insane way I drive. And as I rolled, the thought "She was right." went through my head about 11 times a second.

if you have spare time recovering you can animate us a little sketch of the accident. i did one a when i got side swiped at junction a while back, helped to pass the time when i should be walking places i usualy drive to.
