The whole point is that PC has taken off like a runaway locomotive. We as a collective cannot indulge in the Human condition without some poodlefaking PC nazi getting upset about it.
Don't you miss what it was like to be a "real" man or woman back in the '80's (I know a large part of this audience was not even born back then) when you were free to indulge your senses and express yourself the way you saw fit?
When I was at uni and this whole PC thing started to fly people thought it was a joke, even a flyer of soon to be prohibited words was circulated as a joke.
Guess what, all of them are now on the "list" of words we now should avoid using lest we offend some thin skinned neo-android of the new millennium. Bah.
Bring back the real men and women of the world. We are Human beings the lot of us, if we cannot laugh at our own condition then we as a society are doomed!

not that i care two s...s about Muslims, but whole thing sounds rather hypocritical. Do you guys object to man dressed in black robe running around a hospital whenever Catholic is dying ? I doubt it..

Interesting thing about Mozilla spellcheck. It says "muslim" is incorrect when spelled lower case, "catholic" is ok however. Ain't that some PC ?

catholic means universal

Just a point of clarification. The Catholic priest doesn't require the sevices of the nurses to reposition ALL of the Catholic patients beds for religious purposes as well as running water at the patients bedside, again for religious purposes 5 times a day as opposed to medical treatment purposes.

I broke my leg and was there for 14 days... The staff re-oriented the room to make me comfortable in whatever way I wanted.... I wanted to be able to look out and see the ocean.... I got what I wanted.

You crazed extremist, racist haters...was that hospital being too PC cuz my love is the ocean? Grow up and accept that people are different and should be TREATED like people.

I'm willing to bet they didn't reorient your bed 5 times a day either.
Tell me were you in a private room or one with 5 or more beds in it?
The situation you are describing and the possible scenario that was put forth are very different.
I don't consider myself to be racist, but I fail to see the benefit in pandering to the every whim of any minority group who plays the damned PC card.
Seriously guess who gets the bulk of government sponsored benefits? Sure as heck wouldn't be us if we needed them because we aren't indigenous nor are we a member of a displaced minority (refugees, immigrants etc.).
By playing to the bleeding hearts and the do gooders who want to absolve their own guilty vices we have effectively made the majority of the population second class citizens.
