I have found I can play MP3 files while flying in Aces High.  I have tried this in warbirds but suffered a very significant hit to the frame rate.  In Aces High, no noticable change.  Now, if I can get my squaddies on RW with me, I can really sing for them.

I often just drop a music CD into the CD-drive and press play.  I used to do with WB as well.  No side effects I've noticed  .

Don't you guys know that it's a common sign of a dweeb to listen to music while flying?

Well, there might be one exception: Aces High by Iron Maiden. There's some "heavy" material, at least for spit pilots

Interesting! Makes me wonder what everyone listens to...

Hangtime: "White Horse. If ya wanna ride the white horse...."

TT: "Now you're messin' with a, a son of a bi**h! Now you're messin' with a sonovabi**h...."

Mighty1: "Feelings, nothing more than feeeeeeelings...."

Kieren: "Another one bites the dust, another one bites the dust Hey! Hey!..."

Fishu: "You'll see me crying, crying, cryyyyyying over yoooouuuuuuu...."

All in fun!

Is he singing the Roy Orbirson original, the Don McClean, or Kaydee Lang covers.

IMO "Crying" by Roy Orbirson is one of the best pieces of music ever written.

I would say that only "Drift Away" Doby Grey tops it.

"Clowns to the left of me, jokers to the right, here I am, Stuck in the middle with you, Stuck in the Middle with you" Steeler Wheels.

You guys are missing it completely   . No good mission is complete without the following song. (picture yourself on a beach in 'nam watching some guy surf after a helicopter assault)

Dear God,

Please make Dago's fps drop when he plays an mp3 from now on. I promise I'll go to church more often.

Dago, next time we're on RW I'm gonna plug the "line out" from FM tuner card into the mic jack for RW.
