One of the other songs they covered was the Police. Since then I've been sifting through Police songs on youtube. I'd forgotten how much I liked those. Thanks

Guys here at work are younger than I...by about 10 years or so.....Anyway...I been plying music trivia on you tube and differnt spots....found this song from the Movie Car Wash.....when I was a kid...this was a song you could get BUSY to back in the back of the skating rink.

Hiya texasmom.

Never saw them, but there are some great cover bands from the Philippines that play throughout Asia.

Did you ever see this young lady? She was 12 years old when she entered a singing contest to earn some money to help out her very poor mother. Like many, music is a way to earn their way out of hard times.

Rolex ~ that was impressive. When I saw what song she was gonna sing I though she'd blow it for sure ~ that's one of the songs that sounds awful if you fudge a little bit, but she was awesome. I listened to some of the other clips of her as well ~ how nice to have such a great talent at that age!
