Just think of the money you would have saved if you had just started wearing underware again.

I could see paying $100.00 for some jeans, $150.00 maybe.

$400.00 is a nice pair of slacks.  Actually, just now checking out BrooksBrothers.com you get 2 pair of nice dress slacks for $400.

Geeez man... Lookin' @ Nordstrom I found some UGLY jeans for $300 ish.

Go to Barneys in NY if you want to see unusually high prices for normal stuff...

I found out that Levis has an entire line of jeans that they don't seem to advertise anywhere that a "normal" person might look.  I've seen them only at Barneys although they might have a couple of other similar outlets.

Keep in mind that these are essentially just levis with a slightly different label, and the fabric is a bit different because the cotton is somehow eco-friendly or "organic".  The price? Just a tick under $200 for a pair of levis.  Excuse me, Levis "E".

Nilsen's Norwegian, everything costs more there because they have oil. Wasn't a pizza $50? ;)

And Furball, they don't even use the €uro in there, they still have their own Viking-age monetary unit, the "Horn of a Fjord-Ram". :)

I thought their currency was valued against a kilogram of lutefisk.

Check the labels for the "Made In" statement

Check the labels for the "Made In" statement.

Odds are, they are made in China or another 3rd world place of employment for garment workers for a cost of about $2 to $5 dollars.

Even these are over priced in my opinion: Levi 505 red tags; From $31.99 To $39.99 --> http://www4.jcpenney.com/jcp/X6.aspx?DeptID=53006&CatID=55210&GrpTyp=SIZ&ItemID=1232eef&cmVirtualCat=FeaturedItem&CmCatId=EXTERNAL|MP|levis|55208

What's your wife spend in clothes compared to you?

I mean $1600?  Wow.  I'm starting to visualize your metro-ness in a more Will & Grace image now  :)
