Looks like it might not be half bad.

The car jumping stunts Im sure will only be beleivable to those of us REAL men who grew up watching Speed Racer as kids.
so we are well aware of the Mach 5's capabilities

As a kid in the early 70's I lived for S.R.

This looks very disappointing. Especially the Shooting Star interpretation.

Someone was selling replicas of the Mach 5 a while back. Can't find the link now that it's spammed up with move stuff.

You had to sign a release that you wouldn't use it for promotional purposes.

Who's going to play Chim Chim? Are they going to have Speed's "dramatic" Aaaaahhhhh's?

When we were kids, my brother got in trouble for sampling the birthday cake icing before it was time. He honestly thought he would get away with it, since he took the icing off in an "X" pattern, and no one knew Racer X's real identity!

I used to watch Speed Racer religiously when I was a kid. I remember really enjoying it. This movie trailer brought back a very youthful excitement for me that I haven't had in over 30 years. I'm looking forward to seeing it!

I remember my much younger sisters watching Speed Racer. From it I thought cartoons took a real nose dive from those I enjoyed as a kid.
