I guess the frequent trips to the water bong killed your ability to use the shift key?

Never heard of it. Give a bit more info and I'll try to find it.

I'm going on a 1,400 mile ride the day after Christmas and will cruise through Carmel on the way to San Diego then off to Tucson and back ending in Pasadena to see the Rose Bowl game.

Winter rides along the southern border are ff  fff f  fun.

I doubt it's there anymore. From what I recall, the story is that a local postal inspector had some family property. Apparently a few dwellings were sited there and it became something of either a commune or a flop for people passing through. I can get the details but it will take a bit of sleuthing. For a while Baba Ram Dash had a place there and in his bedroom he kept a rocket primed and aimed through a window towards the coast.

In the rocket he kept his stash. If trouble erupted he just had to fire and the incriminating evidence would be launched into the pacific.

My brother spent a few years out there and brought back a few tales of the exploits of the cool-aid generation. Most of them sound too crazy to be made up.
