No matter what my computer see's, or his "see's" many collisions are caused by stupid flying on the part of one party. If not actual intent to collide.
Like yesterday I was in bombers with 5 fighters on me within 1,000 yrds, if not even closer. Ever try fighting 5 fighters alone in a bomber when all are in your/their kill box? My only intent was to take as many down with me as I could, and I did hit a few of them already.
Well one guy in a spit was right under flying in circles all around me trying to impress some other cartoon guy with his Spit prowess. I hit him a few times and then just kept an eye on him. I had 4 other fighters far more dangerous to worry about, leveled out, with a shooting solution on me, "which the Spit never had cause he was dancing around like an idiot".
So whats the guy in the Spit do? While hes spinning circles around me he hits one of my wings, "or at least MY computer saw him hit", end of fight, the fighters I hit all made it down to the base they were right over, and I ended up 0-3 k/d.
Thats the entire problem with this collision model. It rewards poor flying.
